This blog is our virtual invitation for you to join UNICEF's lifesaving work in the field. Every day UNICEF is doing ground-breaking, life-changing things for children in over 150 countries around the world.

While we can't fly all of our donors and friends to the field, we're hoping this blog will help you see the vital work your generous contributions fund every day.

Has there been any response to Sharon LaFraniere's N.Y. Times article(10/29) which discusses the disgusting situation in West & Central Africa of indentured children. Are there organizations of any kind, including UNICEF,who are jumping on this problem to eradicate it quickly.
