Thank You for keeping us posted. It's so heart-warming to see such a young person being envolved in helping the world's neediest children. God bless Clay Aiken and all others working to better this world. My contribution is on it's way.

It's heartwarming to hear that the Afghan people are determined to teach their children and themselves so that Afghanistan will again be a thriving country. Thank you, Clay, for bringing this good news to our attention. I will do all I can to help these people.

How heart warming to see Clay Aiken with the children and women of Afghanistan and to blog such positive fieldwork comments. How true that we Americans only see the negative side of the news and not all the positive happenings that Clay described in his blog.
I have contributed to your plea for $100,000 in 10 days. We can do it Clay for the people in Afghanistan!
Thank you Clay and Unicef for bringing us a good side after hearing all the negativity from the media about what is going on in Afghanistan.

What a wonderful attitude he has when it comes to helping children for whom he holds dear to his heart. Just when you think you have it bad there are those who have it worse and that is what makes UNICEF so wonderful that it gives hope to those who need it! God bless you Clay

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Clay's field notes. He was honest about his preconceived ideas of the area- which i am sure are very similar to alot of the people's ideas who are reading these notes. His notes display warmth and respect for the Afghani people. The whole blog is a reflection of what it means to serve others.

Afghanistan then and now....
My heart is feeling very full currently, thank you for your touching field notes and your impressions of this amazing country...
You see, I was in Afghanistan about 30 years ago, travelling through the middle east, the unconditional kindness, the eagerness to learn was so powerful back then, and it is amazing that this legacy is still carried on.
I stayed in a Salvation Army home and for two days spent time on a little hill outside Kabul with the most enduring children and their families.
I read the children the books I brought, they shared theirs, they wanted more and more. We drew pictures and even danced a bit!!!! There were smiles, laughter and even tears when goodbyes were said!!
Their passion made much an impact!!
Clay, thank you for your dedication to UNICEF and for bringing Afghanistan's needs to the public. Thank you for your Voice!!!
$100,000 in 10 days, my honor to donate!!
