[TV] Tune in tonight to hear Ishmael Beah

ABC's 20/20 will present an hour-long broadcast in which Ishmael Beah, author of A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, will discuss his experience as a child soldier in Sierra Leone. UNICEF played a key role in the Beah's rehabilitation, lifting him from the front lines and reintegrating him into civilian life in Sierra Leone as a teenager.

Thank you so much for showing this because my group and I are doing a project on child soldiers and I haven't read the book yet, but I will read it soon and I just wante dto say thanks for speaking out and influencing not only me, but other people to act on this issue of Child Soldiers.

I have read ishmeal beah's book A long way gone - his amazing, harrowing and inspiring book - it opens your eye's, mind, and heart to the plight of child soldiers
