Sifting though the archives we came across some old Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes. Many of us here have fond memories of carrying one of these little orange boxes on Halloween. They've inspired a bit of internal debate about which is on is "the best" Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box.

I love the 2007 UNICEF box, but also loved the one from the 1980s with actual photos of children that UNICEF programs touch. Just wanted you to know that my college students are becoming community activitists as they trick or treat for UNICEF. I've added a level of challenge by giving the group that collects the most an excused day off. What a motivator! HA! We only received 10 boxes for 2 classes, but we're making good use of them. When they overflow, we go to shoeboxes or baggies! With any luck, my students will come away knowing more about UNICEF and feeling good about their contributions. Perhaps a seed has been planted in them to encourage future community involvement. Thanks for a fun program.
