Since Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF began 58 years ago, we have made many friends.

In fact, our very first friends—a small group of kids in Philadelphia fundraising door to door with milk cartons—probably couldn't have predicted how big their idea would become. Over the years, Trick-or-Treaters have helped connect UNICEF to literally millions of donors, fundraisers, celebrities and partners.

We are forever grateful for all of these old friends. Without them, we would not be seeing child deaths continue to decline around the world. But, until we see the day when no child dies of a preventable cause, we cannot stop. We must spread the word. And that means, we must make new friends.

You can help! For the first time ever, we’ve launched both a Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF MySpace page and Facebook Cause. If you use either of these sites, just add us as one of your friends. Then, when you’re writing on someone’s “wall,” or “poking” everyone you know, invite them to add us too, and help spread the word.

Be our friend. Help us save lives. It's as simple as that.

unicef is my hero. it provides food and shelter for really young children that need help, and unicef is there every day and every time to help poor people

♥ unicef is so inspiring to me, i want to help out as much as i possibly can, but there is so much needed to do, to much for one person. more people need to get involved in this program, IT CREATES MIRACLES! ♥

We just moved to Mexico City and my daughter is trick-or-treating for Unicef with her school's friends!

How do you get the orange box to collect money for UNICEF then where do you donate it to?

By the way, I love UNICEF. I can't wait to help out :]

Jenner Pascua, UNICEF USA:

Hi Courtney,

It’s not too late to help out! We are now receiving donations from across the country. Unfortunately the boxes are no long available, but you can still Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF by printing out a canister wrapper from the download center. http://youth.unicefusa.org/trickortreat/download-center.html

Once you’re done collecting you can deposit the change at your local Coinstar machine (for locations, visit coinstar.com). Send in your Coinstar receipt, check or money order to:

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 125 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038.

Thank you for making Halloween count!

yeas, I fully support all the above comments! This is almost the only organisation of the scale that without any doubts does really helps to those who are in need!
