Join the UNICEF Tap Project

UNICEF Tap Project

World Water Week starts this Sunday”March 21. During World Water Week, the UNICEF Tap Project will aim to raise awareness about the world water crisis as well as secure funds for UNICEF water and sanitation programs. Please help support the 2010 campaign by visiting a UNICEF Tap Project participating restaurant and donating one dollar for the tap water that you usually enjoy for free. To find a participating restaurant in your city, check out our restaurant map.

You might also consider attending or hosting a UNICEF Tap Project event in your community. As of today, there are more than 225 events being hosted across the country, of which 85 are open to the public. Check out our events map at tapproject.org to find an event near you.

You can host an event after World Water Week as well. Simply register as a volunteer to access all the event hosting materials. Once you know your event’s date, time and location, you can register it to be eligible to receive an event activation kit, with posters, buttons, pins and stickers that you can utilize at your event.

And donations are always welcome, too! Money raised will be used to support UNICEF’s clean water programs. In 2010, the UNICEF Tap Project funds will support water and sanitation programs in Haiti, Central African Republic, Guatemala, Togo and Vietnam.

However you support the UNICEF Tap Project, thank you!
