Flooding displaces thousands in Venezuela

Venezuela is coping with massive flooding, the worst in 40 years. The government reports 50,000 people have sought shelter after a week of non-stop rain and more to come.

At least 31 deaths have been reported. Schools are closed in 11 states and 4 states are under a state of emergency.A national search and rescue operation is under way and officials are distributing food and other supplies to the affected areas.
