U.S. Fund for UNICEF President and CEO, Caryl Stern, along with UNICEF supporter Dena Kaye, will be on NBC’s Today Show on Wednesday morning to honor the life and talent of UNICEF’s first Goodwill Ambassador Danny Kaye. Hosts will highlight Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and the contributions Danny made to our 62-year old campaign.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Create-a-Character Contest

This year as part of the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign kids and kids at heart are invited to design and submit their own Halloween character for a chance to be part of the 2013 limited edition box collection. Specially designed boxes were created by graphic designer Mark Popham  for Today Show hosts.

Look out for these designed boxes during tomorrow morning’s segment and help spread the word by tweeting or posting on your Facebook pages. You can also email friends and family and let them know to tune in. We hope you’ll watch and submit your own “Create-a-Character” contest design!

Watch a clip of  Caryl Stern, Dena Kaye and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF on the Today Show.

I’m a Danny Kaye fan and a regular supporter of Unicef thanks to him. He made me aware of the need to help the children and of Unicef’s work for them. “Trick or treat for Unicef” is his legacy and it deserves our full support for the sake of the world’s children.
