Sound of Change Concert with Beyoncé
I’m so excited to be attending the Sound of Change Live concert tomorrow, representing the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. I can’t wait to see Beyoncé perform, along with a star-studded line-up that includes Florence + the Machine, HAIM, Iggy Azalea, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Laura Pausini, Rita Ora and Timbaland. But more than that, as a woman who works every day to improve the lives of women and girls, I’ll be so proud to stand with others to help empower the girls and women of the world!
The Sound of Change concert is part of CHIME FOR CHANGE, a new global campaign founded by long-time UNICEF partner Gucci. The campaign was launched to raise awareness for girls’ and women’s empowerment and to promote education, health, and justice for girls and women everywhere.
UNICEF fights for the rights of girls and women every day in over 150 countries around the world, and our long-standing partnership with Gucci has helped millions of girls receive a quality education in sub-Saharan Africa. We are proud that Gucci has asked us to join them in their efforts.
