UNICEF is there for children in the Philippines

Be There for the Philippines on #GivingTuesday

By now, your food has settled, and you've either returned from the Black Friday morning frenzy or at least finished watching the news coverage. Though Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and spending time with loved ones, sometimes that gets lost in the holiday sales. Luckily, #GivingTuesday is next week — a national day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 3, we hope you’ll be there for the Philippines with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

UNICEF estimates that 5.5 million children have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan. While major progress has been made in Tacloban and other parts of the country, we still need your help providing critical supplies to children in need. Your donation can help rush medicine, hygiene kits, nutrition supplements, clean water and other essential goods to the Philippines.

Many of you have already given generously, and we’re truly grateful for your support. However, with so much left to do, we still need your voices. Let’s turn #GivingTuesday into a rallying cry for the Philippines. Donate to UNICEF’s relief efforts, share with your friends and family, change your profile picture — anything to show that you’re ready to help.

On #GivingTuesday (and beyond), UNICEF will be there for the children of the Philippines. Rihanna, Robinson Cano and Skylar Diggins have already joined us. Will you?
