Key Club, a service leadership program of Kiwanis International, is the oldest and largest service program for high school students, and gives its members opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership skills. Key Club attributes its success to the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Since 1994, Key Club has raised more than $5 million for UNICEF. This year, the campaign will support The Eliminate Project.

Announcing the first-ever Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Costume Party, where you can join the 2011 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Ambassador Heidi Klum (as well as me and my son) in donning digital designs that also support UNICEF and kids around the world.

Even though she is physically challenged with a nervous system disorder and she was in tears with stage fright 5 minutes before the all-school assembly, she gave an inspiring speech to her entire school about how she was moved by a commercial on TV about kids in Africa (it wasn’t even for UNICEF) to do something that could help.

The fashionista’s fall accessory is now available: the FEED Trick-or-Treat bag to benefit UNICEF. Available at HSN and www.hsn.com/FEEDbag now through October 31st, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF supporters and FEED fans alike can carry their support while enabling UNICEF to provide essential nutrition to children in need around the world. The most stylish part is that each bag purchased helps a child in need.
Google and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF celebrated Halloween together this year. As part of their annual “Googleween” party for employees and their families, Google invited Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to their Mountain View, CA and Chicago, IL campuses. I was thrilled to don my own costume and provide a fun and accessible way for the Google family to help save children’s lives.
